As a Technical Infrastructure Program Manager for Deployment Readiness programs, you will own a wide variety of IT infrastructure products (including but not limited to, Network Infrastructure, Server Infrastructure, End User Equipment, Data Facilities Equipment) with significant scope and impact supporting several different areas of the business.
In this role, you will work closely with cross-functional partners including OpsTechIT infrastructure engineering, IT Deployment, Field IT, Supply Chain, Vendors / Suppliers and Central support functions to deliver quality products, solutions and services to the customer, meeting the business demand to scale, improve productivity, bring frugal solutions and enable business continuity by certifying them on-time.
Stakeholders will be in different geographic locations and as such we require strong organisational and communication skills to coordinate requirements from customers within teams across your assigned region.
As a Technical Infrastructure Program Manager, You will focus on deployment readiness certification and testing efforts within the organization, working directly with customers and business stakeholders to analyze requirements, organize reviews with internal teams and stakeholders, coordinate testing efforts, collect issues as well as manage risks and manage timelines to completion.
You will also be responsible for governance and reporting as it relates to your region. You are expected to setup programs in program management systems, manage schedule, work with field resources for technical on-site testing, create test plans and develop and run test cases working with engineering and field resources.
You will report on any risks that will impact the delivery of programs ahead of time, and work on mitigation plans to make the program a success, and will use this understanding to influence engineering team’s design decisions, technical priorities, and business strategy through data-driven contributions.
You will be technical advocates and advisors to different customer teams, will partner with engagement managers to suggest solutions that are supportable and align with standards and policies.
This role requires strong program management skills, the ability to understand, manage and deploy large programs and policy changes, scoping and creating project plans, developing processes, creating and managing metrics, coordinating and driving execution, and communicating with stakeholders across levels on status, risks and process / product changes.
Cross-team coordination, project management and executive presentation skills are essential. The candidate must be flexible and action-oriented, and they must be capable of dealing with ambiguity, have strong analytical skills, and be comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.

About the team
The OpsTechIT Deployment Readiness Team is a key pre-deployment function for OpsTechIT which manages the global programs to qualify products, solutions, services and processes that are developed, owned by OpsTechIT and the demand from internal operations customers.
OpsTechIT Deployment Readiness Team manages all programs that includes exploratory product / solution evaluation, pilot programs, products or solutions to be evaluated for limited deployment and doing field / user acceptance testing of products / solutions / services part of planned technology migration for IT Infrastructure.
