Information Technology designs, builds and operates the technological infrastructure of Deutsche Börse and 16 other exchanges around the world.
More than 1,000 IT engineers implement the segments’ strategies through technological applications, thereby ensuring the competitiveness of the entire Group.
Your responsibilities :
Contribute to the transformation of our legacy applications into a modern cloud-based microservices architecture
Apply your abilities in Machine Learning and AI to high-scale financial technology applications
Apply your engineer skills in developing state of the art software to automate everything we do in our Corporate Processes
Design and build scalable, high-availability mission-critical systems and APIs
Solve problems using distributed, asynchronous messaging
Work closely with product, Google SRE and infrastructure teams
Our requirements :
Students must be enrolled in a relevant academic programme (e.g. BSc or MSc student in Computer Science or equivalent) recognised by the state during their internship and must have completed at least the first 2 years of their university studies OR have graduated for less than 2 years
Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including Go or Python
Solid understanding of public clouds
Background knowledge of HTML5, CSS and Java script, R, Perl is an asset
Background in object-oriented programming, including good knowledge in algorithms and data structures
Pro-active in learning and highly self-motivated
Excellent written and spoken English skills alongside good communication and collaboration skills
