An excellent opportunity for an experienced Compliance specialist to join an independent management company specialised in alternative investments.
My client offers a dynamic and interesting position with learning opportunities while working closely with Conducting officer and CSSF approved Senior Compliance Officer.
identify existing and upcoming regulations which can impact the AIFM and the AIFs under management;
assess the impact of new and upcoming regulations on the AIFM and the AIFs under management;
maintain internal policies / procedures, records and registers ( Conflicts of Interest Register, Complaints Register, etc.);
implement the Compliance Monitoring Plan;
prepare periodical internal reports to the Management Team, Board of Directors and Compliance and Risks Team;
prepare and submit periodical regulatory reports and ad-hoc notifications (including marketing notifications);
perform initial and ongoing due diligences on delegates ( IT service provider, distributors, business introducers, etc.);
interact with the regulatory authorities and ensure appropriate feedbacks and responses;
analyze new product / new activities from a compliance perspective;
design training supports / program for company's employees
perform AML / CFT due diligences on investments / divestments as well as on funds' sponsors and distributors;
update existing AML / CFT due diligence files;
maintain AML / CFT relevant tools ( risk based approach) and procedures / policies.
additional tasks could be assigned by the Senior Compliance Officer to help the activities of the function.
University degree (BAC +5) in Law, Business Administration or Finance;
3 to 6 years' minimum experience in a compliance function, law firm or consulting company (regulatory department) in Luxembourg;
Fluent in English and French (any other language would be considered as an asset);
Good knowledge of the Luxembourg regulatory and compliance framework;
Good knowledge of the AIFM environment (in terms of activities and parties involved);
Rigorous, pragmatic, curious and independent, with strong organizational skills;
Proactivity, ability to make proposals and have strong communication skills;
Able to demonstrate a strong devotion in the creation and development of business projects;
Good command of Office tools (Excel, PowerPoint, ).
