Interpretation of rebate terms from legal contracts and operational set-ups in the rebates engine
Setting up and maintaining client and product structures including payment details
Performing rebate calculations including manual rebate reconciliations between client own calculations and internal Schroders results, as and when required
Direct contact with external clients in various distribution markets for rebate calculation related queries
Providing analysis and commentary to Finance teams and supporting other client facing teams
Producing informed statistics and KPIs reflecting volumes, complexity and effort in the business processes
Assisting in rolling out departmental initiatives and projects (streamlining processes, roll-out of systems, take-on of new locations, etc.)
Maintaining accurate procedures whilst escalating any issues to the line manager
Bachelor degree in Economics or Finance
At least 5 years of similar or relevant experience in Asset Management business is required
Strong English, with at least one additional European language (eg French, German, etc.)
Excellent computer skills (advanced knowledge of MS Excel)
Proven ability to succeed in a fast paced and constantly changing business environment
Flexibility is vital in the department and a willingness to get involved in different areas
Analytical and highly numerate
