  • Your Role*
  • The successful candidate will join the SERVAL group led by Prof. Yves Le Traon. The candidate will contribute to projects in Computer Security and Software Engineering and perform the following main tasks :

  • Shaping research directions and producing results in one or more of the following topics :
  • Software Engineering

    Static / Dynamic Analysis

  • Coordinating research projects and delivering outputs
  • Disseminating results through scientific publications
  • Providing guidance to PhD and / or MSc students
  • Your Profile*
  • A PhD degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, Applied Mathematics or a related field
  • Competitive research record in computer security and / or software engineering
  • Strong development skills in C, Python, Java
  • Documented research experience in a number of the aforementioned topics
  • Commitment, team working and a critical mind
  • Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English are mandatory
  • Experience with static analysis and / or symbolic execution is a plus
  • Knowledge of software vulnerability exploitation and prevention techniques is a plus
