The European Union Sort Center (EUSC) leadership team is looking for a Senior Program Manager responsible for developing solutions to the Network's labor scheduling opportunities.

This leader will drive strategic improvement in the current labor scheduling operations as well as prepare a roadmap for future labor scheduling solutions.

Key responsibilities of the role include :

  • Work directly with the Operations Director and Regional Directors of EUSC to determine what needs exist in the current labor planning process.
  • Develop analytical tools to support the ever-growing complexity of Sort Center Labor Plans.
  • Design and lead all EUSC Labor Planning processes from creation to implementation.
  • Work directly with the Finance and Operations teams to develop processes that are easy to adopt and scale with projected growth.
  • Proactively measure the cost impact that implemented Labor Scheduling processes have on the business.
  • A successful candidate will have a demonstrated track record of :

Systems Thinker. Understand all the connections and integration points of Sort Center operations

Data Driven Insights. Form hypotheses about process tools, and then set out to prove or disprove them with experiments and careful data collection.

Prioritization. There will be a constant flow of work, both tactical and strategic. Determine what gets done first and why, while managing a plan for what to do with everything else.

Bias for Action and Dealing with Ambiguity. Sometimes it is not clear how we are going to get there. Can you help carve a path?

How fast can you do it? What are the tradeoffs? Take risks and be willing to try new things, fail fast and iterate.

Thinking Big. How do we build it bigger, better, faster? What aren’t we thinking of?
