The European Operations Procurement Team is seeking curious, intuitive, high-judgment, self-motivated, and creative communications professional, to champion and implement employee-facing communications, community engagement programs and experiences for EU Operations Procurement associates, managers and their leaders.

As Procurement Communications Manager, you will partner with cross-functional stakeholders, implement pan-European and local employee communication as well as specific engagement strategies and programs, lead projects to increase the efficiency of reporting processes, execute communication plans, contribute content to editorial calendar, and manage issues.

The role would suit a tenacious, detail-oriented people person with a passion a for storytelling, an appetite for community engagement, diversity & inclusion, comfort to lead through ambiguity, agility to navigate a large-scale, complex business, juggle priorities, engage external stakeholders positively on behalf of the company as well as manage issues and changes.

You would support, expand and launch community programs.

This individual will have a strong bias for action and sense of ownership, distill information to find common threads between projects, be able to quickly get up to speed on complex issues, anticipate employee questions / reactions, and quickly prepare thorough messaging strategies.

Main responsibilities :

  • Work as part of the EU Procurement Excellence Team, developing, crafting and executing strategic, innovative internal communication plans and content with clear, tailored narratives to engage EU Ops Procurement employee base
  • Proactively build and manage relationships with key internal and external stakeholders across a range of businesses, functions and locations
  • Contribute content to editorial calendar aligned with EU Ops Procurement strategic business goals, aligning closely with internal operations communications team
  • Provide expert internal communications counsel to EU Ops Procurement stakeholders and senior leaders within the organization (i.
  • e. Senior Leadership Reviews) taking account of the legal, confidentiality nuances across Public Relations process & governance

  • Support development and projects of internal communications as well as internal and external engagement plans (e.g. conferences, awards, business review sessions)
  • Improve processes with new ideas and tools that are shared across team members
  • Identify ways to improve effectiveness and efficiency of reporting and communication.
  • Actively advocate improvements and align with stakeholders across functions for implementation projects; plan, lead and control implementation and adherence
  • Manage change, internal policy, proactive and direct engagement with our EU Ops Procurement employees
  • Be the employee experience advocate, representing and protecting this through all strategies and decision-making
  • Develop, liaise and manage the execution of company employee engagement and stakeholder programs including summit, workshop with internal and external stakeholders
  • BASIC QUALIFICATIONS

  • Bachelor's degree
  • Experience in internal or executive communications, product marketing or public relations including issues / crisis and change management experience within a multi-national company or logistics / retail company
  • Fluency in English for verbal and written communication
  • PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

  • Master’s degree in economics, communications, public relations, journalism or a related field
  • Any additional language skills are a plus (German, French, Spanish, Italian)
  • Experience building and rolling out robust communication and engagement program delivering measurable results
  • Experience working with and providing counsel to senior leaders
  • Excellent writing skills are a must, with the ability to formulate a clear point of view on complicated issues and creative a concise and well-written narrative
  • A track record of effectively owning process creation, management, and improvement
  • Process improvement as well as standardization experience
  • Internal or external communications experience with logistics, fulfilment centers, retail operations, and / or technology companies is highly preferred
  • Experience developing relevant content for a diverse, remote and mobile workforce
  • Experience creating effective approaches to difficult communications challenges
  • Experience delivering metrics to measure communication and program effectiveness, reach and engagement
  • Ability to form cohesive and effective outcome from potentially incongruous facts and individual perspectives
  • Process a strategic approach to problem solving, able to anticipate potential reputational issues
  • Ability to exercise high judgement and persuasion, particularly in narrow time-frames
  • Ability to manage diverse workload while meeting deadlines and coordinating multiple stakeholders
