Amazon is looking for an individual to join the RME Energy & Environment team, positioned within the EU Reliability & Maintenance Engineering organization, to manage energy efficiency, environmental and sustainability projects across Europe.
Drawing on technical, project management, and analytical aptitude, the successful candidate will work with technical and non-
technical stakeholders to develop, implement, and asset-manage various projects for Amazon sites.
The candidate will identify and develop energy, environmental and sustainability projects, programs, and initiatives and execute on these projects is coordination with EU RME and WW Sustainability teams.
The candidate will work as part of an integrated team to implement program requirements and achieve results for our customers.
Support the development and execution of comprehensive energy, environmental and sustainability initiatives for the EU RME organization and supported Amazon customers
Work with diverse stakeholders to develop, coordinate, and implement strategies to reduce, monitor, and green Amazon’s energy programs as related to sites across Europe
Provide subject matter expertise around mechanical systems, building management systems and energy efficient systems and equipment
Manage projects against plans and objectives to ensure commitments are met, delivering against cost savings goals; directly support WW Sustainability initiatives and represent RME
Use analytical tools to evaluate the performance of, and make recommendations for, energy systems and equipment, environmental and sustainability programs
Prepare written analysis of findings and recommendations for energy-related solutions
Manage multiple, geographically separated, complex projects simultaneously
Build relationships with external suppliers and partners, and with internal stakeholders
Bachelor’s degree in engineering
Experience working in energy efficiency / management
Experience and proficiency in project management
Strong working knowledge of demand-side energy analytics and management (e.g., building operations, building management systems, self-generation, etc.)
Energy auditing or commissioning experience
Basic knowledge of data collection and analysis methods
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English
Advanced Degree or Specialisation (Energy Management)
Knowledge of multinational energy markets
Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings
Understanding of measurement and verification techniques
Other EU languages : French, German would be a strong plus
