Research direction :
The Geophysics Laboratory focuses on four main research topics, climate variability, geodynamics, and regional processes.
The main objectives are to develop reliable measurements of environmental changes at all spatial and temporal scales. The research focuses mainly on the modelling and interpretation of satellite data.
In particular, the team investigates changes in the water cycle, the mass changes in the Greenland ice sheet, the dynamics of the Yellowstone Caldera, and the use of GNSS reflections for sea-level, snow-depth, and soil moisture studies.
The team is also interested in developing expertise in the use of satellite imagery for addressing these problems.
