Job Description

DuPont Teijin Films Luxembourg SA, a joint venture of DuPont and Teijin Limited, employs at its Contern site around 300 employees and is specialized in the manufacturing of polyester films.

Polyester film is used in diverse applications and omnipresent in our engineered everyday life. Our highly specialized products are used in -

amongst others - food and medical packaging, solar panels, electronic components and in the advertising industry. We are currently looking to recruit a Key Account Manager (m / f) Germany, Benelux and Eastern Europe.

Primarily responsible for selling product and / or services to new accounts and expanding business sales to existing accounts.

Works independently within an assigned territory or customer base. Manages all aspects of the selling process. Administers sales policies and programs to meet revenue and margin goals for the territory.

  • Manages and builds relationships with existing customers. Identifies and establishes relationships with new customers. Promotes and sells custom product offerings;
  • has deep knowledge in products and / or service areas. Selling role is highly consultative. Travels extensively within territory (Based on the Luxembourg site or home based, preferably in the Cologne, Düsseldorf, Aachen area).

    Job Qualifications

  • The successful candidate must have prior sales experience, equivalent customer interface experience and / or a college degree in a related field.
  • German native tongue and excellent English, further languages are considered an advantage.
  • Strong consultative selling skills, combined with customer focus and business instincts. Good negotiation skills.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, both orally and written in order to be able to gain acceptance and agreement on critical issues.
  • Ability to build credibility, trust and strong relationships with customers, internal support functions and peers. Strong team playing skills are essential.
  • Can understand and become proficient with IT / SAP systems. Understands basic accounting, credit and MRP II principles.
  • The successful candidate is able to assimilate and analyze information from external and internal sources; able to anticipate impact to customers and take appropriate action as well as being result oriented, taking initiate and ownership to drive customer issues to resolution.
