For our HQ in Luxemburg we are seeking for a person who will work as a Travel Markeet & Business Intelligence Specialist while being part of the Travel Market department.
The aim of this role is to work with Internal and External Travel Market teams in order to :
Cooperate to create and improve the internal Business Intelligence
Understand My Perfect Store Project's logics and adapt these guidelines to Travel Market competitive arena
Main Tasks : PERFECT STORE EXECUTION
PERFECT STORE EXECUTION
Understand the Perfect Store logics defined centrally and adapt it to Travel Retail Channel;
Support the optimal Product exposure, in quantitative and qualitative terms;
Cooperate to fine tune Perfect Store framework for continuous improvement of in-store execution;
Collaborate with Sales team to monitor the guidelines deployment;
Collaborate with execution team to perform spot qualitative surveys on competition POS / product exposure, upon specific request by Marketing.
Collect market data from institutional sources and research companies and ensure the same level of knowledge on key information among the BU stakeholders
Propose and purchase industry reports relevant for the BU to strengthen BU knowledge of the channel, specific trends and dynamics
Category Market Research
Understand Travel Retail research specificities and peculiar needs;
Supports Brand Managers on the definition of market research objectives;
Work with internal stakeholders to define arrangements for continual and ad hoc market analysis reporting;
Collaborate with other internal functions to select the optimal research methodologies and procedures, promoting ad hoc surveys and new tools based on group best practices;
Build central views on Categories, Brands, Channels and key players’ performances;
Monitor Brands’ health for each category, with key updates on performances from internal and external sources.
SELL-OUT / DISTRIBUTION
Keep the BU sell-out database updated, supported by Sales information;
Provide periodic reports with key figures by Brand (trade analytics) and Client;
Work with Marketing and Sales planning on ad hoc sell-out reports;
Support Marketing on the definition of distribution perimeter by brand.
Master's Degree in Economics, Business Administration, Marketing or other related fields;
Background in Market analysis, Consumer research and data processing;
Knowledge in writing and implementation of Business and Marketing project plans;
Experience in in-store optimization solutions (Eye-Tracking, Path Tracking, In-store observations and interviews, Virtual Store, smartphone surveys, etc);
Excellent communication skills;
Ability to develop and maintain relationships across all levels within the clients’ organizations in order to generate business opportunities.
IT Skills :
Proficiency in MS Office skills;
Knowledge of SAP ERP (as a user) will be considered a plus.
Fluency in English;
Italian and French will be considered a plus.
