General job description :

  • Ensure adequate design and implementation of tax compliance processes at group level
  • Ensure correct and timely fulfilment of reporting and disclosure requirements, including : Country-by-Country reporting, Mandatory Reporting (DAC 6) disclosure, TTC / RIT reporting and support of the preparation of the Group Financial Statements
  • Manage the compliance process for more than 50 Holding and Finance companies of the group, coordinate with other departments to ensure legal, statutory and tax compliance of the Holding and Finance companies
  • Specific responsibilities and accountabilities :

  • Develop and maintain tools to monitor the tax compliance status of all (more than 500) fully consolidated subsidiaries of the ArcelorMittal Group
  • Ensure complete and timely reporting on the compliance status, coordinate initiatives to improve the tax compliance processes of the subsidiaries
  • Ensure that all necessary actions for legal, tax and statutory compliance of all (more than 50) holding and finance companies (HFC) are performed, including : Fulfillment of substance requirements Appointment of Directors, preparation and documentation of Board of Directors meetings Accounting, preparation, audit and filing of financial statements Preparation of financial plans and cash flow forecast Preparation of legal documents Tax compliance
  • Support in the Company Reduction Plan aiming to reduce the number of the Group companies
  • Assist in the preparation of the CbC report, monitoring of filing of CbC notifications
  • Manage the process for Mandatory Disclosure requirement (DAC 6)
  • Support in the preparation of reports for internal and external addressees
  • Support the tax digitization initiatives, in particular the design and implementation of IT tools for tax compliance and reporting processes
  • Minimum Applicant Attribute

    Education / Qualification : Master

    Subject : Tax or Law Language and Proficiency Level : English Advanced

    Qualifications :

  • Degree in financial management, tax or law
  • Experience :

  • At least 2 years relevant experience in a tax or law firm or in a Multinational
  • Required Skills :

  • Good understanding of tax and statutory compliance principles and ability to transform this understanding into well-structured process and actions
  • Strong financial, analytical and problem solving skills
  • Rigorous and structured, at the same time being able to deal with difficult and conflicting situations
  • Effective communication skills, both oral and in written
  • Very good level of English, both oral and in written
  • Knowledge of French or any other languages is an asset

  • Good understanding in the use of standard computer applications
  • Microsoft Office)

  • Self-starter, excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Demonstrate professionalism through a positive and cooperative attitude
  • Ability to work both in team and individually
  • This function requires limited travelling
