The University of Luxembourg invites applications for the following vacancy in its Luxembourg Centre for Educational Testing (LUCET) at the Faculty of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences (FHSE).

Your Role

based on peer-reviewed publications) in Psychology. The doctoral researcher will develop a diagnostic test for specific learning disorders in the area of mathematics adapted to the linguistically heterogenous Luxembourgish school context ().

In close collaboration with the national competence center Centre pour le développement des apprentissanges Grande-Duchesse Maria Teresa , the doctoral researcher will develop a new testing battery to be used for diagnostic purposes.

This PhD project is embedded in a larger project concerning test development to diagnose learning disorders and as such the PhD candidate will be part of a diagnostic-test development team.

Activities

The doctoral researcher will review research on specific learning disorders in the area of mathematics as well as existing assessment tools.
