Purpose of Role : The individual will be part of the Billing team in Luxembourg.
The team is responsible for all client invoicing activities reconciliation oversight and control as well as management reporting.
Major Responsibilities :
Support the Billing process including month end quarter end and year end reporting to Group.
Manage oversight activities
Follow up on aged items (billing vendor bank)
Support setup and review of billing templates and monthly invoicing to the clients.
Revenue analytics and reporting to Senior Management and internal Committees.
Support for External Audit in terms of managing Year End Audits and filings.
Daily and monthly reporting of P&L Balance Sheet ensuring we have a strong control environment and issues are escalated and resolved in a timely manner
Cooperation with Shared Service Centre functions in Near shore and Offshore locations and oversight of activities performed in offshore billing & accounting teams
Support and communicate any changes required from Accounting Policies and Accounting Standards (multi-jurisdictional GAAP etc) -
support from dedicated Accounting Policy team.
Support Regulatory Finance deliverables
Support quarterly SOX self-assessment
Ad hoc projects such as : Implementation of a new Corporate billing system.
Level of Education / Specific Qualifications :
Degree Educated Skills and Experience
5+ years of experience within Financial Services
Experience in Billing team
Accounting background having worked in a relevant Financial Services institution
Very strong English (written and verbal).
Track record of delivering results of quality in a timely fashion and able to drive execution
Must be capable of developing and managing relationships across the company focused on international locations with a wide variety of partners based on trust teamwork and knowledge
Experience in a multi-national environment.
Exposure to working with teams in low cost and offshored locations Required Competencies
