For our HQs in Luxembourg we are looking for a International Customs & Process Improvement Manager .

In this role, you will play a key role in our global operational team acting as a contact / source for customs topics, communication and information flow between authorities, suppliers and other internal stakeholders (Customer Service, Procurement, Finance, Local Supply Chain team, Industrial teams).

You will liaise with teams across the globe on global customs matters whilst having the opportunity to develop a broad range of compliance and advisory skills.

Main Tasks

  • Process Improvement, reduce manual activities of Supply Chain area;
  • Customs reorganization of FTL (Ferrero Trading Luxembourg) flows;
  • Manage the customs brokers in order to optimize time, costs and quality;
  • Focal point for feasibility studies of new flows or special movements of FTL goods;
  • Contact customs authorities, supporting local Supply Chain and broker on customs operative topics / requirements;
  • Stablish communications with transports suppliers, suggest improvements on the logistical flows and supporting the local Supply Chain to avoid extra costs;
  • Creation of suppliers operative control tower with KPI’s and close follow up to improve their Service Level Agreement;
  • Apply Lean approach for procedures design and implementation of standard rules;
  • Implement a customs management system to ensure transparency among FTL Plants and operative control.
  • Profile

  • Bachelor / Master in Business Administration, Engineering, International Commerce or Law, or related field;
  • At least 6 years of relevant experience;
  • Knowledge of international commerce rules;
  • Autonomous and decision oriented personality;
  • Able to develop strong collaborative relationships to achieve goals functionally and cross-functionally;
  • High analytical and problem solving skills;
  • Project and risk management discipline and mindset;
  • Willing to travel internationally about 10% of the time.
  • IT Skills

  • Knowledge of MS Office;
  • SAP knowledge or / and other customs IT tool is a plus.
  • Fluent in English;
  • Any other language is a plus.
