Our company in Luxembourg has about 170 employees and produces more than 4 billions of preforms every year as well as recycled PET.
In order to reinforce our Team, we are looking to hire a Supply Chain Manager (m / f) : Directly reporting to the Site Director and the European Supply Chain Manager, you will be responsible for maintaining sufficient quantities of goods according to customer requirements through accurate production planning, scheduling, finished goods warehousing, and delivery.
Your main responsibilities will be as follow : Set up Production planning and ensure accurate match between production planning and supply of materials Monitor purchasing of materials and services in accordance with stock conditions as determined internally Supervise stock management and supply inventory Manage transport and storage and provide cost controlling Formulate long-
term production plans for dedicated lines to plan and account for inventory building Ensure smooth communication and coordinate activities with other European plants Manage Logistic and Supply Chain teams Participate actively in continuous improvement activities (quality, prices for purchasing and consumptions strategies) in cooperation with other plants managers and Site Manager.
Your Experience, skills and competencies : Bachelor Degree in Supply Chain Management Minimum 8 years’ experience in a similar position in manufacturing Strong knowledge of English and French, any other language is an asset Computer skills and ERP Knowledge (SAP knowledge would be a plus) Open person, reactivity, team player, dynamic Excellent communication skills Interested to join Plastipak, an industry leader in the design and manufacturing of plastic rigid containers of the highest quality?
