We are looking for a an experienced Middle-Office and Back-Office Manager for Credit Suisse Courtage Luxembourg. The ideal candidate has already a significant experience of the life insurance industry and is knowledgeable as regards Luxembourg life insurance products in particular for French and Belgian residents and knows the most important providers in the market.
Ideally the candidate has either worked for a Luxemburg-domiciled Insurance Company or for the insurance department of a bank or for a reputable insurance brokerage firm.
The professional will be based in Luxembourg. The job is aimed to support our existing senior life insurance brokers (e.
g. CEO & Head of Sales) in their daily business. This involves taking ownership on back office processes, liaising with Relationship Managers, wealth planners, following up insurance companies and acting as point of contact for daily business issues, support in the brokerage process, etc.
We are looking for a candidate whom we can develop into a life insurance broker at short-term, thus a person who is willing to learn the brokerage and client business and occasionally travel to meet-
up with clients and Relationship Managers of the Bank. The position includes the following responsibilities :
Handling of insurance / brokerage processes (KYC completion, application handling, archiving, pipeline management)
Getting in touch with Insurance Companies to follow-up new business cases and existing policies
Liaising with RMs to sort out open questions in conjunction with the client's KYC, etc
Assist senior brokers in recommendation writing and sending, thus manage preparatory work
Participating & arranging client meetings
Support in business travel organization
Travelling from time-to-time
Minimum of 3 years of Life Insurance Product experience with a Private Bank, reputable Brokerage Firm or an Insurance Company (in Luxembourg preferably)
Basic knowledge of Life Insurance products offered by Luxembourg-based life insurance companies within the context of the Freedom-
Fluency in French, English a 3rd language would be a plus (Dutch, German ..)
Solid understanding of operational processes within a Bank, Broker, Insurance company
Sound understanding of regulatory and industry relevant developments (IDD, PRIIPS, GDPR .)
Very good communication & stakeholder management skills
Sales and service oriented and flexible character with strong interest for life insurance products
Motivation, proactivity and analytical mind
Administration and organizational skills with good middle-office skills
Advanced MS Office skills
