Amazon Web Services (AWS) EMEA HR is seeking an exceptionally bright, multitasking and motivated individual with a history of high performance to support the AWS HR team in EMEA.
The position will be based in Luxembourg, Amazon’s EU Headquarters. The Grand Duchy of Luxembourg is a diverse and multicultural country located in the heart of Europe, bordered by France, Belgium and Germany, with a total population of around half a million.

The successful candidate will possess the ability to complete complex tasks and projects quickly with little guidance, react with appropriate urgency to situations that require a quick turnaround, be able to take effective action without having to know the total picture, and efficiently and proactively solve difficult or complex problems that affect people within the department or other related groups.
The role will work closely with other Assistants throughout the HR organization and the company. Ideally the candidate will have knowledge and experience of working with a global teams across multiple time zones, languages and cultures.
This exciting role requires superior attention to detail, great organizational skills, the ability to meet tight deadlines, and to juggle multiple requests.
A high level of integrity and discretion in handling confidential information, and professionalism in dealing with senior professionals is important.
A good sense of humor is important, as is the ability to be flexible, and to change direction at a moment’s notice. Excellent knowledge of Microsoft Office and Outlook tools is also required.
Main responsibilities include complex calendar management, travel bookings, expense management, event planning, space management, ad-
hoc project management, and some HR Administrator duties. This is a demanding but highly rewarding role, allowing you exposure to broad and diverse areas of the Amazon business and the opportunity to work with senior leadership teams on a multitude of exciting tasks.
You will generally be responsible for organizing agendas and ensuring optimum manager productivity, including ensuring successful follow up of action items, preparing documentation for meetings, assisting with presentations and a variety of other day to day administrative tasks.
