Fund Operations Manager -14 month contract- We are seeking to recruit an experienced and ambitious Fund Operations Manager who combines sound knowledge of fund operations with the ability to build automated processes with smart IT solutions.
Key Responsibilities : Within this role you will be part of the European Hub for provider management of Retail Fund Administration Services.
Your key responsibilities will include : performing the overall fee controls for all costs attributed to the funds and related to asset management maintaining a comprehensive global holiday calendar for the European fund range based on official external sources publications supporting the oversight of the user access approval process to the service providers information platform improving the oversight controls and processes through automation (including technical support) performing various oversight controls like screening of service control reports, business continuity management reports or news about our service provider The role includes the opportunity to work on cross border projects.
You will be part of an experienced team, liaising with colleagues in a global environment.
Key Requirements / Skills & Knowledge : Sound understanding of the processes of the asset management business with a deeper knowledge of custody and fund accounting Fluency in both written and spoken English, knowledge of German highly welcome High level of accuracy and keen attention to detail High motivation to take initiative and develop targeted solutions through creative thinking Expert knowledge of MS Office with a special weight on MS Excel and MS Access Detailed VBA coding skills (Excel, Access, Outlook, Scripting Runtime) Knowledge of data normalization and design of relational databases Knowledge of MS SQL Server e.g.
writing of queries and stored procedures in T-SQL Experience with SQL Server Integration Services is an additional plus We offer an attractive, performance-
