Tax Manager (EMEA) BSO57 Greenfield is delighted to be working with global materials solutions provider in their search for a Tax Manager.

The purpose of this created position is manage all tax aspects of various legal entities within the EMEA region, including, responsibility for the review of tax provisions, the coordination of financial reporting requirements relating to EMEA taxes, the coordination and review of tax return filings, providing business decision support with regard to tax aspects of business initiatives and recommending strategic tax initiatives relating to EMEA tax planning.
The Role Detail review and sign off of U.S.
GAAP quarterly and annual tax provisions for EMEA legal entities.
recommend actions to existing positions as warranted based on relevant impact of changes and support implementation of approved recommended changes.
direct responses to ad hoc tax inquires Recommend strategic tax initiatives relating to EMEA tax planning, mergers and acquisitions, restructuring, transfer pricing, treasury and VAT issues This is strategic focus of this role which implies strong understanding of commercial structures and tax laws of multiple countries.
The Profile Advanced degree (Accounting, Business Administration, Economics, Law, Tax) and accounting certification 12+ years EMEA corporate income tax experience in a Big 4 accounting firm or large multinational corporation.
A very strong broad tax experience which is typically found with more senior candidates.
EMEA regional tax diversity with concentration in Benelux and German taxes; Experience with cross-border mergers and acquisitions, and restructuring transactions.
Familiarity with OneSource, would be a plus.
