Role purpose :
As a Category Manager Legal & FinancialServices you will be responsible to conduct sourcing activities for 2 mainprocurement categories within the Vodafone Procurement Company, CorporateServices Procurement team : 1) Legal Services, 2) Financial Services.
Thatresponsibility includes strategic and operational focus across 20+ markets withan annual total expenditure of €180 million.
The purpose of the role is to conduct sourcingactivities for the 2 categories and their sub-categories*, under guidance ofthe Principal Category Manager accountable for these areas.
Role holder isexpected to
Savings and cash benefits are expected to be deliveredby constant review of the category strategies and regular benchmarks in closecooperation with business stakeholders in local & global supply chain,legal, treasury and other finance functions.
In this role you will ensure that categorystrategies are developed, agreed and executed to deliver the optimal total costof ownership for the categories managed, deliver savings targets in line withVodafone’s own savings methodology, demonstrate value add whilst securing thedelivery of projects, products and services across the areas, thus manage risk.
You will support the relevant business units indevelopment of new and efficient enforcement of existing company policiesrelated to these categories with sponsorship of and communication with thehighest management.
