Spire is a satellite powered data company that owns and operates one of the world’s largest satellite constellations and ground station networks collecting high-value data from space.
We are looking for a Product Manager to manage a data-centric API led product.
In this position you will work closely with the agile team developing the Spire Sense data product and will be responsible for ensuring the success of the service in the market.
You will coordinate with the product managers across all products, and will act as the internal and external expert and evangelist.
In this role you will have significant direct visibility and engagement with VP and Senior Management level executives.
Responsibilities of your role :
Drive the vision and strategy for the development and delivery of the Spire Sense solution
Know the product and the market intimately and ensure consistent product delivery in addition to forward-looking releases
Prioritize use cases, product messaging and themes for development
Act as subject matter expert and advise various internal, partner, and customer teams
Work with Product Marketing to articulate value proposition of the Spire Sense offering, and to develop and implement a company-
wide go-to-market plan, coordinating across all departments
Collaborate with the sales and go-to-market teams to drive the field and customer engagement plans
Communicate, influence and work with Executives, both inside and outside of Spire, to explain the strategy and make sure that the Spire data services meet their needs.
Work directly with the Product Management and Engineering leads to plan and execute the product roadmap.
Help set strategy for technology and implementation partnerships
Qualifications / Experience :
BSEE / CS or equivalent plus 5-10 years related experience in product management. MBA or advanced degree preferred.
Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to explain software to non-technical users.
Experience working on projects / programs implementing software and process solutions in a high performance scrum development environment.
