Purpose / mission of the role :
Lead the Business Intelligence, Datawarehouse, Analytics & Reporting domain
Analyze business objectives and needs with the business teams
Specify the requirements from different stakeholder’s (business & IT).
Define BI & Data Warehouse Strategy for group & corporate
Support segment defining their strategy where required
Analyze and confirm best solution(s) to fit business needs (architecture, market analysis, ...)
Ensure projects are properly defined and scoped, estimated factoring in all aspects, not only applicative aspects but as well IT infrastructure, IT security, change management
Ensure projects are properly organized and followed up to be delivered within budget and timelines
Ensure hand-over to support after project done
Supervise the project portfolio and lead project implementation with the partners / internal teams
Manage continuous improvement (recurring support : maintenance, changes, training, compliance
Manage the re-billing of project services when requested
Study new innovative technologies in term of smart analytics and work closely with the predictive analytics team
Develop benchmarking on BI / Reporting practices across the group / segment / units
Develop external benchmarking
Promote best practices sharing, awareness and collaboration across the group teams
Be the group reference in term of Business Intelligence / Reporting / Smart Analytics
Collaborate with key solution providers, partners, start-up companies
Key accountabilities :
Manage the team that provide BI & Datawarehouse support to business corporate & segments
Define IT plan, prepare budget / MRF and track actuals vs budget
Translate business requirements into solutions and coordinate the implementation.
Lead RFP process for significant projects and select vendor / contractors.
Transform the operating model from permanent contractors to service oriented support where recurring support is covered by SLA and projects are managed separately.
