ArcelorMittal Europe Long Products is a leader in sections, sheet piles, rails and quality wire rod. It offers the widest range from small to jumbo beams in sections and a large spectrum of wire rod qualities covering the full range of applications.

ArcelorMittal Sheet Piling, the world’s largest producer of certified hot-rolled steel sheet piles, offers steel foundation solutions including accessories, advice, special fabrication and logistic support.

In rails, ArcelorMittal offers a wide range of rails covering, amongst others, rails for high speed and heavy haul tracks

Missions :

As Head of Leadership Development of ArcelorMittal Europe Long Products, reporting to the Segment Head of HR, you will be building & maintaining successful partnerships with the different business areas, and supporting on the following ics :

Performance Management Cycle / Talent Development / Training :

  • Support on AME Long Products Career Committees preparations (Succession Planning, Ratings moderation) with operational involvement on data consolidation, presentation, HRIS systems updates.
  • HR Key user role within AME Long Products community (training role)
  • Support to AME Long Products Head of HR on Leadership development processes (GEDP related) animation with Business
  • Support on Talent motivation and engagement (Development plan, Career pathing)
  • Support on Talent Pipeline nominations (selection, registration, follow up)
  • Learning week initiatives design & organization
  • ArcelorMittal University interface (Learning council representative) and support towards business on Training & Development offers
  • Recruitment & Onboarding :

  • Collection of business recruitment needs, preparation of Job descriptions
  • Coordination of recruitment providers relations (recruitment agencies, job boards, head-hunters)
  • Pre-screening of candidates (shortlist)
  • Interview support along with Business
  • Support & follow up for efficient on-boarding process (Including training plan, induction, feedback session after few months.)
  • Employee Engagement

  • Organization of initiatives supporting employee / management proximity
  • HR Internal communication initiatives
  • Operational responsibility for Segment Transversal Functions (Sales & Marketing, IT, Finance, CTO,)

  • Individual recruitment and onboarding in scope of European transversal scope
  • Coordination of compensation & benefits agenda
  • Implementation of people development / training programs
  • Compliance trainings / certificates support
  • Responsible for Organization charts for Segment transversal function
  • Database OneHRIS and organizational management
  • Manage international mobilities
  • HR Dashboard for concerned perimeter
  • Support on Strategic Workforce planning exercise for Segment transversal functions, Job Mapping
  • Support to AME Long Products HR Head on yearly HR processes + HR Projects :

  • Yearly Bonus & Salary review
  • Support on AME Long Products action plan definition following Group Speak Up Survey’
  • Development plan and training audit preparation
  • Expected outcomes of the role

  • Actor within HR team of a dynamic and international Industrial and sales organization (insight on business knowledge & HR challenges associated)
  • Involvement on wide scope of HR / LD activities, and also legal knowledge on several international perimeters (Contract, local labor)
  • Involvement & development on several key strategic projects
  • Supporting implementation of local HR policies
  • Strong knowledge on HRIS systems to support business
  • Minimum Applicant Attribute

    Education / Qualification : Master

    Subject : Human Resources or Business / Management (University or Business Schools) Language and Proficiency Level : English Advanced

    Other Minimum Requirements :

    Already relevant experience 10 years min. in one of the HR domains (Leadership Development, HR operations, Compensation & Benefits, Resourcing, Training)

    Strong analytical skills, HR Systems first experience is expected

    Candidate will show pro-activity, dynamism, autonomy, stress resistant, stakeholder / results orientation and good communication skills.

    Fluent English is required, second language is a +
