Trainee position for up to 12 Months for you being part of the First Line of Defense Support (FLDS) team, dedicated to CS Luxembourg front business.
A key position in which you gather experience in risk management topics related to Private Banking Business such as AML / KYC (Client documentation, Flow of Funds etc.
Suitability & Appropriateness (Product and Client Risks), Cross Border or Fraud Prevention.
Your responsibility will be the preparation of Control Tasks on behalf of CS Luxembourg management, timely information to line managers about the control results and suggestion of corrective measures
You will have the opportunity to conduct ad-hoc reviews including risk assessments, monitoring and quality assurance related to regulatory or risk initiatives
The chance for you to assist in the maintenance and development of the bank’s control framework and provide support in risk management and quality assurance projects
Identifying risk patterns based on Supervisory Control results and discussing them collaboratively with internal partners
Student status and an Internship agreement from your University for the whole traineeship duration
You gathered already some working experience in a financial institution, preferably in the risk management, audit or compliance area;
knowledge of the Wealth Management business, products, and front-to-back process would be an advantage
You possess a sound knowledge and understanding of the regulatory landscape
You bring good process review / risk assessment skills with an understanding of risks and impacts in a banking environment
Independent judgment with strong analytical, communication and negotiation skills is what you can contribute
You have a sense of responsibility with the ability to work independently and proactively; you are a good teammate with a can-
do attitude and problem solving skills
Build and maintain positive working relationships within the team, with management and stakeholders is your demonstrated ability
You show excellent Microsoft Outlook, Excel and PowerPoint skills
You are fluent in English; any other European markets relevant languages are beneficial (German or French)
