The Sales Associates provide administrative support to the sales force when it is required. They participate in the management of schedules, appointments and displacements of Client Managers and Presales resources.

They receive customer purchase orders that they forward to the sales admin team. Their success is determined by the client service orientation.

The Sales Associate acts as key support person to the sales teams.

What you'll be doing

1. Contribute to organisation effectiveness by establishing and managing relationships with vendors.

2. Administer the sales order and purchase order processes.

3. Manage vendor costs and ensure access to vendor pricing.

4. Capture data and produce reports as required by the sales process and sales team

What would make you a good fit for this role?

  • Provide quotes for clients, either from direct requests or on behalf of the Sales team. This might involve a degree of product pricing where the Sales Associate sometimes has the ability to influence the price and margin, by suggesting different products dependent on lead times, promotions, alternative suppliers and programs.
  • Design kit lists and configure vendors solutions. They work together with the vendor to make sure that the vendor delivers the required quality control for a configuration.
  • They do configuration presales for the elaboration of the offers.

  • Participate to meeting on the client site with the Client manager. They are able to send offer directly to the client and they constantly are in the dialog in between the vendors and the customers.
  • For customer that are not assigned to a dedicated Client Manager and for Interco Business they can become even the main customer contact.

  • The staff members contribute to operational sales effectiveness by establishing relationships with vendors and asking for quotes to these vendors on a daily basis.
  • They contribute further in the prospect and customer database management in Salesforce.
  • A team of Sales Associates should backup themselves and support the Client Managers team
