You will report directly to the Head of C²DH Administration and Support and you will work closely with the Project Coordinator, the Financial Controller of the C²DH within the C²DH team.
As a Research Facilitator, it is your role to support effective and efficient current and future competitive research activities and projects for the Luxembourg Centre for Contemporary and Digital History (C²DH).
This job includes mainly the following activities :
Assist the C²DH’s researchers find, apply for, receive, and manage research funding (e.g. EU and FNR), including support for financial project reporting;
Support dissemination of research activities in academia and society, e.g. activity reports of the C²DH;
Ensure internal cooperation and communication at the C²DH level, and between research office, other research entities and central services
Ensure external cooperation and communication with the C²DH’s partners to participate to the design of new projects and the follow-
up of the acquired projects;
Participate actively in meetings, info days, and other events related to the mission;
Update Research information for the communication channels of the C²DH;
Support the internal and external audits and evaluations related to the C²DH and its projects.

University degree or equivalent professional qualification in an area relevant to research management;
Experience in a research environment and / or in research and project management, project monitoring, fundraising, budget management, editing of activity reports;
Excellent command of English and fluent in French and / or German (written and spoken), command of the three languages would be an advantage;
Proficiency with modern office software, collaborative platforms and spread sheets;
Team-oriented, diplomatic & able to work in a multidisciplinary and multicultural environment;
Agile, open-minded, proactive, able to multi-task and able to work autonomously;
