Responsible for providing design and web design / development support for CHAMP marketing activities globally :
Web design & development
Maintain and evolve the business’ various websites (currently 3) from a design and functionality (development) perspective
Design, develop and implement enhancements on an on-going basis
Design and develop microsites, e.g. for customer events.
Graphic Design :
Protect, maintain and develop CHAMP brand elements to further stablish a strong and consistent corporate identity (e.g.
logos, online / offline artwork)
Artwork may include all aspects of brochure generation, logo design, print ready pull up banners, exhibition booth artwork, ads (online / offline, static and animated), microsites, design concepts and graphics for cross-
channel marketing campaigns
Re-enforce brand usage and oversee brand compliance and consistency,
Establish and evolve some consistent CHAMP iconography
Maintain corporate brand guidelines and templates including HTML, CSS, Word,
Liaise with external parties such as agencies as needed
Maintain methodical filing of all marketing materials
Challenge the team and wider CHAMP workforce to continually improve.
SEO & PPC management :
Propose web designs to optimize user engagement rates, yet which complement our organic SEO agenda
Implement and maintain SEO & PPC strategy and plans
The qualified candidate will have the above experience and meet the following requirements :
Well versed in Adobe Creative Suite, including Photoshop / Illustrator, InDesign and other mainstream design software.
Well versed in browser / server compatibility and optimization.
Umbraco and Wordpress CMS experience
Strong working knowledge of how to edit the front-end code of CMS templates
Ability to hand-code responsive web content without the use of a framework
Awareness of good, modern design principles for the best end-user experience
UX wireframing and prototyping
Strong print / graphic design experience for composing magazine ads, booklets and posters
Logo and iconography design experience
Digital design; producing web page designs to optimize user engagement rates, yet which complement our organic SEO agenda
Proven organic SEO experience and understanding of on-site optimization
Experience in using Google tools; search console, page speed insights, trends
Strong GA and GTM experience (setting up custom events / filters / goals set up, dashboards etc)
Strong Google AdWords experience of managing large budgets (both Search and Display), optimizing of quality score, ad rank etc
At least 3 years experience in a similar broad and versatile role in a B2B environment
Attention to detail, with excellent organizational and communication skills.
Ability to interact on all management levels of the organization.
Strong sense of urgency, adaptability, flexibility, and resourcefulness.
Proven ability to work in a deadline-driven, multitask environment.
Proven initiative to work alone when necessary yet flexible to work as part of a team.
Motivated and driven web / graphic designer who is proactive and able to develop creative and innovative artwork based on a verbal or written project brief
A Bachelor’s degree in computer graphics or related field.
Knowledge of corporate branding, layout, color theory, and visual design.
Knowledge of online UX.
Excellent written and oral English
The following additional requirements are desired but not essential :
Working knowledge in website design best practices.
Experience in design and / or development of microsites.
Working knowledge of Microsoft SharePoint.
Experience of working in a transportation or logistics sector.
Knowledge and experience of integrating multiple information sources.
Experience of social media in a B2B environment.
Working knowledge of template production in Microsoft Office applications
Comfortable with Windows based operating systems
Experience with liaising with external companies for marketing material production
Google Adwords and Analytics certification
Working knowledge in corporate video development.
Ability to converse in a second European language.
