We are currently seeking for our Sales & Investment Advisory team a :

Main mission :

You will be responsible for the management of a decentralized Team of Investment Advisors and you will have to support them in delivering BIL Value Proposition to (U)HNW clients.

Your will assist Investment Advisors in proactively providing quality financial advices in accordance with the bank's investment strategy and the clients specific requirements.

With a successful experience as an Investment Advisor, or in a Business managerial function, you are a financial markets professional able to take ownership of the bank’s strategy and its investment universes.

Your strong management skills and your sense of leadership, combined with your client centric approach are key assets for this mission.

Main activities :

  • You will ensure that BIL Advisory & Discretionary offerings are thoroughly communicated to relationship managers.
  • You will make certain that Investment Advisors are supporting relationship managers in presenting our investment solutions to prospects and clients.
  • You will establish, monitor and communicate a series of quantitative and qualitative KPIs in order to ensure that all the requirements are met.
  • In close collaboration with BIL Head of Investment Strategy, you will safeguard that the Investment Advisors are promoting the investment solutions which are aligned with the BIL’s Chief Investment Officer views.
  • Working closely with Business Team Heads, you will assess the level of Investment Advisory support required on a regular basis as you will be also accountable / responsible for a number of Business ambitions.
  • Via the Investment Advisors Team, you will collect the needs for new solutions and address them to the Products Specialists.
  • You will set up, coordinate and participate in an Investment Advisors Forum which will reunite the Investment Advisors from BIL’s different locations
  • Profile : Education :

    Education :

    Master’s degree in Finance, Economics or in a scientific discipline. Professional certification such as CFA will be considered as an asset.

    Knowledge and skills :

  • Very good knowledge of portfolio management and the main investment vehicles
  • Good understanding of risk management and regulations (e.g. MiFID II)
  • Computer skills : Microsoft Office is a must. Knowledge of Triple A (or a similar portfolio management tool) is an asset.
  • Ability to build sustainable relationships with internal clients
  • Power of conviction, passion for the financial markets, ability to explain market concepts in simple terms
  • Excellent managerial & interpersonal skills, team spirit
  • Good organisation, ability to take initiatives and to work under pressure
  • Excellent verbal and written communication, including on complex topics
  • Languages :

  • French, English (read, write and speak)
  • Fluency in another European language will be considered as an advantage
