The Commission de Surveillance du Secteur Financier (CSSF) is a public institution in charge of the supervision of the financial centre of Luxembourg, with the exception of the insurance sector.

For the performance of its prudential supervision of credit institutions, the CSSF intends to increase its staff and hire : Banking Risks On-

site inspectors (m / f) (Internal Auditor / External Auditor / Risk Manager) Ref.

OSI-BR Your responsibilities Realisation of on-site inspections for significant institutions and less significant institutionsas head of mission and team member in Luxembourg and abroad, covering one of thefollowing topics : credit risk, operational risk, ICAAP or interest rate risk in the bankingbook.

  • Involvement in the full process of inspections : Pre inspection phase (preparation, scope definition, communication with banks);
  • Investigation phase (working program, interviews, control testing, substantivetesting, conclusions); Reporting phase (drafting of the report and observations’ letter, meeting withbanks).

    Direct contact with specialists from the ECB central on-site supervision or from JointSupervision Teams.

    Direct contact with specialists of the supervised credit institutions.

    Possible participation in drafting team for development of new methodologies orenhancement of existing methodologies.

    Your profile Four or five-year university degree in Economics, Finance or Business Administrationand Management.

    Professional experience of more than 5 years (external / internal audit, risk management,position with confirmed responsibility), in particular in one or several of these fields : creditrisk, operational risk, ICAAP, interest rate risk in the banking book.

    Good knowledge of the regulatory framework (Basel III, CRDIV, IFRS, Technicalguidelines EBA, BCBS, etc. ).

    Proficiency in written and spoken French and English.

    German and / or Luxemburgish orany other language will be considered as a serious asset.

    Writing, analytical, synthesis and communication skills.

    Ability to work autonomously and as part of an international team.

    Willingness to work abroad.

    The successful candidate (m / f) will be engaged as "employé de l’Etat" (public employee) with a contract of undefined duration.

    If the candidate meets the required conditions, s / he will be asked to apply for admission to the status of civil servant ("fonctionnaire de l’Etat").
