Our Financial Services Advisory Department focuses on wealth & asset management, banking and capital markets, insurance and private equity to provide Advisory services in the areas of Performance Improvement, Risk and IT to Financial Services organizations in Luxembourg and in EMEIA.

In order to continue the expansion of our Financial Services Risk Management, we are looking to recruit a : Junior Consultant (m / f) in Financial Services Risk Management / P rudential Regulation for the Banking industry

EY's Financial Services Risk Management (FSRM) Practice is a dedicated international network of quantitative analysts and business experts with practical knowledge from banking, investment management and insurance network of more than 900 professionals located in all of the world's financial services centers.

Your responsibilities :

  • Perform business analysis around regulatory in the banking industry in Luxembourg;
  • Gaining experience on regulatory aspects of advisory services covering a broad range of risk management, supervisory and compliance issues and gain technical experience in market, credit, operational and asset-
  • liability risk management.

  • Develop knowledge of banking regulations such as :
  • Basel requirements and changes
  • Stress testing
  • Recovery & Resolution Planning
  • Risk models and risk model validation
  • Reporting systems implementation
  • Regulatory reporting
  • Ability to understand and adapt to changing regulatory and legislative requirements
  • Perform support to audit team in the context of review of regulatory ratios such as Capital Adequacy and Liquidity Coverage Ratio
  • Your profile :

  • You hold a Master’s degree in Mathematics, Engineering, Quantitative Finance, Business Administration or a similar quantitative discipline;
  • Knowledge in financial engineering is considered a plus;
  • You have strong communication skills and you act as a team player;
  • You are organized, flexible and demonstrate commitment to personnel development.
  • You are fluent in English. Additional language skills are an advantage
  • Additional skill considered as a plus :

  • You have good understanding of applicable regulatory framework and compliance issues for Banks : CRD IV / CRR (Basel III / IV);
  • You have already addressed the following areas of Risk Management : liquidity ratios, capital requirements and reporting (COREP);
  • You have the appropriate industry qualification such as FRM or PRM certificate;
