    CONTEXT

    Group Procurement is a key department to optimize the cost base of the Group in order to meet the Group strategic target of cost efficiency.

    In this context, Group Procurement is also ensuring procurement processes are adequately managed across the Group.

    In order to continue the expansion of the Group Procurement Team we are looking for a new team member, specialized in Professional and / or Financial Services.

    JOB RESPONSABILITIES

  • Manage and develop Category Strategy for Professional or Financial Services (Market Data). Support relevant KBL functions with a strategic view on procurement in the relevant category.
  • Coordinate the execution of the strategies with group and local teams.

  • Manage end to end Procurement process : sourcing, benchmarking, conduct supplier selection, volume consolidation, negotiation, vendor relationship management etc.
  • in close cooperation with the concerned Group or Local functions.

  • Contribute to the Bank savings objectives and understand cost drivers, identifies and implements cost reduction initiatives but also process efficiencies opportunities.
  • Provide the analytical support for developing & measuring category specific metrics (spend, savings...) and for identifying potential areas of cost optimization at Group or Local business unit level.
  • Coordinate the transformation Procurement initiatives for the relevant category.
  • Supports the team by managing Procurement related transversal projects.
  • Responsible for compliance with the KBL Procurement Policy and other relevant policies and procedures within the relevant category scope.
  • Develop and maintain an excellent understanding of the SAP purchasing module, including interaction and training for the internal stakeholders, support Procure-
  • to-pay process optimization.

    QUALIFICATIONS

  • A minimum of 2 / 3 years of experience in a Buyer role
  • University degree in Economics or Finance
  • Strong knowledge of the sourcing process (RFI, RFQ, offer analysis, supplier selection, drawing up a contract, etc.)
  • Strong knowledge of MS Office and advance knowledge of Excel

  • Strategic thinker with strong operational execution and ability to act as an enabling change officer
  • Strong analytical thinking and understanding of financial implications and metrics
  • Strong collaborative approach to interact and communicate with stakeholders at various levels of the organization
  • Proven capacity to manage multiple assignments, set priorities and adapt to changing conditions
  • Ability to work with a high degree of autonomy
  • LANGUAGES

    Fluent in French and English are mandatory, any other language would be considered as an asset (especially German and / or Dutch).
