We are an experienced team in Luxembourg with a niche position in IT security and related support services, and our client, a FinTech company in Kirchberg, requires a full time Junior IT Office Support Specialist at their premises.
Your responsibilities would include : Becoming knowledgeable with the ticketing system, available documentation, and perform desktop end-user support.
Becoming knowledgeable with the technologies used at the client's premises.
Preparing detailed issue reports for service providers or senior experts if necessary.
Most importantly, helping end-users with their problems and improving their productivity.

Required Skills Technical skills : At least a Technical Diploma in Information Technology or similar.
Ideally having or working towards at least one of the following certifications : PC / Laptop OEM maintenance CompTIA A+ Microsoft Certified IT Professional (desktop) Microsoft Office Specialist Excellent English, French or German welcome.
Troubleshooting, installation, configuration or replacement of PCs, laptops, peripherals, Windows, MS Office, mobile devices.
Awareness of Active Directory, Exchange, MacOS.
At least six to twelve months experience in a similar role.
Document all work performed and maintain the ticketing system and inventory accurately.
A "fix-it" ability to isolate a problem, find out more about it, and fix it or get advice from our team.
Soft skills : Helpful and friendly, customer focused.
Attentive to detail and determined to fix issues at the root - takes ownership.
Able to describe technical matters in clear and simple language.
Efficient communication with service providers when required.
