Wavestone's CRO Advisory practice focuses on the CRO change and improvement agenda through a combination of risk expertise and deep industry knowledge.
We work with a wide panel of international clients in the banking sector. Our team possesses extended expertise on prudential and financial reporting (including regulatory reporting) and risk management.
You will be on-boarded on value added projects aiming at supporting CROs in
Regulatory compliance projects : contribution to the analysis and implementation of major regulatory directives, i.e. Basel III, Anacredit, BCBS352, banking and trading tools recast, IFRS 9 (provision issue)
Operational efficiency & process alignment : client assistance in internal control frameworks design and roll-out, review of operational processes, mapping exercises for risks and controls (KRI, incident collection )
Strong academic background with a master degree in business administration, audit, finance, economics or engineering
Three to six years of working experience :
in banks or financial institutions with credit risk and / market risk and / or liquidity risk experience
or in strategy, organization / management consulting or audit (CRO Advisory)
Deep knowledge of standard risk and control assessment methodologies
Prior exposure to risk-related regulatory frameworks
Working knowledge of risk related IT systems (in particular regulatory) will be considered a plus
Strong problem solving and communication skills with the ability to develop strong team and client relationships
Desire and willing to serve clients, to learn continuously, to solve problems
Fluent in French and English, German or Italian is a plus.
