Amazon is looking for a motivated individual with advanced skills and experience in the areas of program management, strategy development and analytics to head the Linehaul Strategic Partnership team.
This role is responsible for driving both the definition and development of strategic partners across the middle mile for Amazon Transportation Services (ATS) in EU.
He / she will enjoy building and shaping new commercial proposals from scratch, working with external providers, providing compelling visions and working through detailed solutions that fit Amazon and its new Linehaul partners.
This position offers broad exposure to senior stakeholders within various business, operations, and technical teams at Amazon.
He / she will define and oversee the development of strategic partnership across the middle mile while implementing solutions that will create a higher level of integration with new partners.
She / he will have excellent written and verbal communication skills, the ability to create and sustain urgency, and a proven ability to lead cross-
functional projects including collaboration / communication across all levels and teams in the organization : senior leaders, technical teams, operations, and business leaders.
As the Senior Manager, EU ATS based in Luxembourg, your core responsibilities will include : Develop the relationship with Linehaul partners and External suppliers Design and develop the strategic offering that is fit for purpose in terms of delivery experience, speed and cost.
Lead the design process of the new products that will support the commercial proposals Work with development teams to build new tools and technologies to improve our offering.
Evaluate and present multiple partnership scenarios with recommendations.
Define a clear long term vision for Linehaul strategy.
Drive innovation in this space.
Communicating goals, roles and responsibilities to cross-functional teams and driving progress on these BASIC QUALIFICATIONS Extensive experience in Transportation, Process improvements and Program Management Advanced verbal and written communication in English.
Excellent team player and the ability to work with a wide cross-section of people in various locations Strong mathematical and analytical skills.
Attention to detail and high ability for data mining.
Experience in managing team PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS Academic focus on Operations Management, Engineering or MBA.
