We are looking for a material science engineer or metallurgist for our structural long carbon Steel Research Centre.
You will work in close collaboration with the plants and commercial departments on research projects and technical assistance dealing with structural steels used mainly in the building industry.
The research field covers ferrous physical metallurgy with applications in the production process (liquid and solid state) and the application of the product.
A good understanding or first experience in one or more of the following fields is considered as a strong asset : applicable structural steel standards (European and American), welding process, corrosion of low carbon steels, organic or metallic coatings.
You will be responsible for the management of R&D project, including budgets and deadlines.
Occasional business trips, mainly in Europe, will be required.

Education / Qualification : Master
Subject : Material science or metallurgy Language and Proficiency Level : English Advanced
